Loch Sheldrake, N.Y. - The SUNY Sullivan wrestling program had it's up and downs in the fall semester. Two thrilling dual matches at home got the Generals off to a quick start on the team end of things. Appearances tournaments such as the Brockport Open, New York State Wrestling Championships, Bob Quade Cyclone Open and the Long Island open pitted the Sullivan grapplers up against some of the best talent in the Northeast.
On Wednesday night Sullivan traveled to Columbia HS in the Albany area to take NCAA DIII Caselton University (VT). Robert Satriano picked up the only Generals win on the evening as he won via fall
Head Coach Anthony Ng knows that his battle-tested schedule will pay off at the end of the season, "We look to continue our momentum from the first semester and plan to send a bunch of our wrestlers to the NJCAA National tournament in Iowa. Our goal is to continue rising in the national rankings (currently #26) and have Sullivan's first All-American wrestler this season."

Sullivan is back in action on this Tuesday for their final home appearance of the year as they host Lackawanna College at 6pm which will also double as Sophomore night.
