[2/21/2026 Loch Sheldrake, NY] - The SUNY Sullivan Generals hosted Region XV opponent Nassau CC Lions on Tuesday. The Generals fought hard but ultimately fell to the Lions, 71-80. SUNY Sullivan drops to 11-19 on the year and 7-11 in conference. This loss drops the Generals to the #7 seed in the Region XV DIII Tournament.
SUNY Sullivan came out hot and took control of the game early; going into halftime up 16 points, 44-28. In the second half the Generals cooled off and couldn't hold off the Lions getting out scored 27-52 in the half; ultimately lossing the game 71-80.

Quentin Richardson had a team-high 22 points while the rest of SUNY Sullivan's scoring came from H.Niang (8), B.Mercedes (8), N.Sanchez (6), S.Henderson (6), and J.Reich (6).
Nassau CC Lions were led by a game-high 39 points by Glen McBeth Jr (hitting 9 threes). Amir Reushell-Sanders and Isaiah Blunt chipped in, each with 12 points apiece.
The SUNY Sullivan Generals have earned the #7 seed in the NJCAA Region XV DIII Tournament. They are matched up with the #2 seeded Queensborough CC Tigers. The game was scheduled for Tuesday [2/24] but has been moved to Wednesday [2/25] at 7pm at Queensborough CC. Â
