Loch Sheldrake, NY- The top seeded Sullivan Lady Generals took down the #4 Rockland Lady Hawks to advance to finals of the 2020 NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Region XV Championships.  Sullivan came out all business and ready for the opening rounds of playoff basketball, they jumped up early with their pressure defense and went into halftime with a commanding lead.  The second half was much similar and the Lady Generals were able to secure a semifinals win over the Lady Hawks, 132-34.  Sullivan Lady Generals will move on to the finals tomorrow where they will see the #2 seeded Orange CC Lady Colts.  Orange beat #3 Westchester CC, 71-55, to secure their bid to the finals. 

Sullivan's Kanayah Britt had a double-double and four other Lady Generals scored in double figures.  Ariana Buchanan led the pack, having a game high 26 points.  Kanayah Britt had a double-double with 16 points, 10 steals, and 5 rebounds.  Adrienne Graves finished with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists.  Aniyah Calderon went for 16 points and 5 rebounds.  Johnahyah Curry chipped in 11 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds.  Brianni Avery ended the game with 11 rebounds and 6 points.  Other General scorers were C.Emmanuel (9); K.Britt (8); J.Kelly (7); and I.Lee (7).

Sullivan Lady Generals play Orange CC Lady Colts tomorrow (3/1) at 12pm in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse on SUNY Sullivan's campus for the 2020 NJCAA DII Region XV Women's Basketball Championship.
