Rochester, NY- In a rematch from a week ago the Sullivan Generals matched up with Monroe CC on Sunday (1/19) at Monroe CC. A week ago to the day the Generals and Tribunes faced off on a neutral court at Herkimer CC in a battle that saw Sullivan win by 8; 82-74. The rematch proved to be just as entertaining with Monroe hosting Sullivan in a noon tip-off on a snowy Sunday afternoon. The Generals were in for a battle after going down 34-33 in the first half. While shots wouldn't fall in the first; shooting a mere 30% from the field and 17% from three, Sullivan had to rely on defense to keep things close. The second half showed the Generals settling in and hitting big shots down the stretch and finishing the second half going 44% from the field and 32% from behind the arc. When the game ended the Generals had secured a 10 point victory over the Tribunes, 76-66, moving to 15-2 on their 2019-2020 season.
