LOCH SHELDRAKE, N.Y.- The Generals use back to back seven run innings to overcome a 4-2 Orange CC lead in the 5th inning, going on to win 16-4 and securing the series.
With two outs in the 5th a
Giovanni Diaz hit an opposite field solo homerun to kick off the scoring as Sullivan would tack on six more in the inning.
An
Elijah Ervin grand slam capped the scoring as the Generals improve to 17-19 (6-9 MHC). Ervin drove in six on the day;
Bryan De Aza and
Justin Mateo each had three hits.
Starting pitcher Joshua Perez-Rosa (1-3) went 6 innings allowing 5 hits, 1 ER while striking out seven and only walking two. Sullivan is back in action Monday night as they make up the series finale vs. Dutchess CC; 7pm at Dutchess Stadium in Wappingers Falls.
