Generals Spilt with Dutchess on Monday Afternoon

Final game of series to be made up Monday April 29th at Dutchess Stadium...

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY - After a tough game one loss  in which the Generals were tied at 4-4 after 5 innings but ended up losing 15-4 they were able to collect themselves and defeat Dutchess CC in the second game of the afternoon by the count of 7-1.

In game 1 Jean Paul Compres and Bryan De Aza each had two hits with Compres collecting a double and a RBI. Steven Colon (4-3) took the loss for Sullivan

In game two sophomore RHP Daniel Rodriguez stepped up and threw a complete game 2-hitter as the Generals were able to salvage a split on the afternoon. Rodriguez would strikeout 11 as his record improved to 2-2 on the year.

Giovanni Diaz delivered the big blow with a 2nd inning grand slam and the Generals would tack on three more runs in the 4th, two which came via a Compres double. 

Sullivan stands at 14-17 (3-8 MHC) on the year and will host Lackawanna College at 4pm on Tuesday.
