Sullivan Cruises Over Columbia-Greene 110-72

Loch Sheldrake, NY - The Generals returned to action after a week layoff and showed no signs of rust as they put up one of their more impressive efforts on the season with a convincing 110-72 victory over Columbia-Greene. A combination of full court pressure defense and lethal behind the arc shooting set the tone as Sullivan improves to 5-3 on the year.

Leading the way for Sullivan's balanced scoring attack was Kevin Smith who put up 18 points in the first half, 21 overall. Sophomore Guard James Conteh (16 points) and Freshman Guard Darvin Lovette (13 points) both notched season highs. Freshman Forward Darius Lee continues to be a force off the bench with 12 points. Every member of the Generals roster found their way into the scoring column on the night.

Sullivan returns to action on Friday night as they take on Monroe CC in a 7:30pm game in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse. Monroe was ranked #8 in the country in the NJCAA preseason poll and currently is 5-3 on the year.
