Sullivan Hangs on to Defeat Dutchess CC 89-82

Gutsy effort by Darius Lee leads the way...

Loch Sheldrake, NY- After a weekend in Maryland where the Generals struggled to get it going they returned to the friendly confines of the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse and willed their way to victory Tuesday night with a 89-82 win over Mid-Hudson Conference opponent Dutchess CC.

Sullivan took a seven point lead into the half and fought back against several Falcon runs down the stretch. Kevin Smith continued with his hot hand, scoring 26 and Darius Lee with another strong effort going for 24 points. With the win Sullivan improves to 4-3 on the season and Dutchess drops to 3-2. 

Generals return to action Tuesday night against Columbia-Greene CC. Tip-off is 7pm.

Darius Lee (Harlem, NY, Saint Raymond High School) followed up his strong performance Sunday vs. Prince George's CC with another 24 points tonight.
