Carl Graham has over 30 years of basketball coaching experience, ranging from all levels. Coach Graham has been an assistant for the women’s basketball program, here at SUNY Sullivan, since 2006. As an assistant for SUNY Sullivan, Carl Graham is very active and known for his recruiting; bringing in high caliber talent to the Generals women’s basketball team.
Carl Graham also serves the program by overseeing student-athletes academics by assisting them with the making of their schedules, constantly communicating with the professors, and handing out progress reports throughout the semester to ensure all of the players are meeting their classroom standards. In addition to his role in academics, Coach Graham plays a pivotal role in practice planning, film breakdown, and in-game strategies. In recent years, Carl Graham was a key to the Generals success in winning two Region XV Championships (2014, 2016), as well as, four consecutive undefeated Mid-Hudson Conference Championships (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). With Coach Graham’s hard work for the SUNY Sullivan women’s basketball team, the Generals have reached national ranking, developed all-American and all-region players.
Carl has a earned a Bachelors Degree in Community and Human Development from SUNY Empire. Carl resides in Liberty, with his wife Melissa and their four children, (Earl, Melanie, Cheyenne and Vina). He also has three older daughters (Tanya, Aisha and Shakia) and has six grand kids.
