[3/1/2026 Loch Sheldrake, NY] - The #7 seeded SUNY Sullivan Generals faced off with #3 seeded Monroe University-Bronx Express on Saturday in the NJCAA Region XV DIII Men's Basketball Semifinals.  The Generals fell to the Express, 63-80, to end their season.  

SUNY Sullivan saw three guys go for double figures.  Tomas Hernandez finished with a double-double going for 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.  Nicholas Sanchez went for a game-high 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Quentin Richardson ended with 15 points and 6 assists.  The rest of the Generals scoring came from: H.Niang (4), S.Henderson (4), J.Reich (3), and X.Beckford (2).

Monroe University-Bronx Express had Steven McGriff score 17 points, Michael Samuda had 14 points, and Jalonie Pittman finished with 11 points.

SUNY Sullivan had a great first year after moving into the D3 ranks, finishing with a 12-20 record and making it to the final four of the conference tournament.
