[2/12/2026 Valhalla, NY] - The SUNY Sullivan Generals traveled to SUNY Westchester CC on Thursday.  The Generals fought hard and fell in overtime to the Division II opponent, 94-92.  SUNY Sullivan drops to 10-17 on the season.

SUNY Sullivan and SUNY Westchester were back and forth from the jump.  Sullivan took the lead, 46-44, going into halftime; Westchester fought back and forced overtime at the end of regulation, 81-81.  The Vikings ended with the win by two points, 94-92, after one overtime period was played. 

SUNY Sullivan was lead by a double-double from Tomas Hernandez with a game-high 30 points and game-high 19 rebounds.  Quentin Richardson and Nicholas Sanchez also finished with double-doubles; Quentin Richardson had 23 points and a game-high 12 assists while Nicholas Sanchez went for 18 points and 13 rebounds.  Xavier Beckford chipped in with 13 points while the rest of the Generals scoring came from H.Niang (4), J.Reich (2), and B.Mercedes (2).

SUNY Westchester was led by Lucas Feliciano with 19 points, Tarik Dacosta with 15 points, Fari Joseph with 13 points, Tiziah Spears with 11 points, and Josh Ourigou with 10 points.

The SUNY Sullivan Generals are back in action Saturday [2/14] at 2pm when they host the #5 ranked Dutchess CC in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse on the campus of SUNY Sullivan.
