12/8/2026 [NYC, NY] - The SUNY Sullivan Generals were on the road this weekend for two road games against Region XV opponents. On Saturday [1/6] Sullivan traveled to Hostos CC, who was receiving votes in the national polls, Sullivan fell 86-69. On Sunday [1/7] the Generals fell to home team Nassau CC, 76-61. The Sullivan Generals move to 4-8 on the year and 3-4 in league.
On Saturday [1/6] at Hostos CC the Generals saw three individuals go for double digits:
David Fowler led the team with 23 points,
Nicholas Sanchez followed up with 20 points, and
Xavier Beckford chipped in 12 points of his own. The rest of the scoring came from T.Hernandez (8), J.Harris (2), H.Niang (2), and A.Garcia (2). The nationally recognized Hostos CC Gators saw four players go for double figures with one earning a double-double; Hostos's Harry Bonilla led all scorers with 30 points and 7 assists, Nygel Ready went for a 14-point and 22-rebound double-double, Omar Drammeh finished with 13 points, and Terrell Hood had 12 points.
On Sunday [1/7] at Nassau CC, SUNY Sullivan's
Xavier Beckford led the way with a game-high 21 points while
Tomas Hernandez grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds with his 8 points. The rest of the scoring came from B.Mercedes (7), N.Sanchez (6), A.Garcia (6), T.Wright (6), H.Niang (5), and S.Henderson (2). The home team Nassau CC had three players go for double figures; Anthony Harrison and Glen McBeth Jr both finished with 18 points apiece while Camren Welker ended with 15 points.
SUNY Sullivan [4-8] finishes out the first semester with three more road games: Tuesday [12/9] at #13 ranked Dutchess CC (7pm), then Thursday [12/11] at Queensborough CC (8pm), and then Saturday [12/13] they finish the semester at Monsignor Scanlan HS to face off with Monroe University-Bronx Express (3pm).
