11/2/2026 [Troy, NY] - The SUNY Sullivan Generals traveled to Hudson Valley Community College for their second game of the 2025-26 season.  The Generals were able to secure their first season win, 92-85, over the Vikings.  Sullivan moves to 1-1 on the year.

Generals' Freshman, Nicholas Sanchez, finished with a double-double scoring a 21-points and grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds.  Xavier Beckford added 18-points and 5 rebounds while David Fowler had 15-points with 6 rebounds.  Hassan Niang rounded out the double-figure scoring with 12-points.  The rest of Sullivan's scoring came from T.Wright (7), T.Hernandez (6), S.Henderson (4), B.Mercedes (3), J.Reich (2), A.Garcia (2), and J.Harris (2).

Hudson Valley CC was led by Julius Reed with a game-high 26 points.  Fabian Wheatley finished with 17 points and both Kemontae Thawe and Jacob Baccaro chipped in 15-points, apiece.

SUNY Sullivan [1-1] is back in action on Saturday [11/8] when they host Bronx CC at 3pm in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse on the campus of SUNY Sullivan.
