Rockland, NY (5/13/2023) - The Sullivan Generals won the NJCAA DII Region XV Baseball Championship over the weekend.  The Generals went into the tournament as the #3 seed and took down both #2 Rockland CC and #1 Westchester CC on their way to the Championship.

On Thursday (5/11) The Region XV Tournament opened with #3 Sullivan playing #2 Rockland at Rockland CC.  Sullivan was able to secure a 14-10 win to advance to the second round of the tournament.  On Friday (5/12) the #3 Generals then faced #1 Westchester at Rockland CC; Sullivan was able to beat Westchester, 8-4, to advance to the Region XV Championship.  On Saturday (5/13) the #3 Sullivan Generals had a rematch with the #2 Rockland Hawks to determine the NJCAA Region XV Champions.  Sullivan took down Rockland in the first game to earn themselves the NJCAA DII Region XV Baseball Championship.  

The Sullivan Generals advance to the 2023 NJCAA DII Northeast District Tournament hosted by Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA.  The winner of the four-team tournament will earn a bid to the 2023 NJCAA DII Baseball World Series in Enid, OK.  Sullivan will face Delaware Tech CC on Friday (5/19) at 11:00am; winner of Friday's game will face the winner of the matchup between Lackawanna College (PA) -v- Uconn-Avery Point (CT).
