Poughkeepsie, NY (1/24/2023) - The Sullivan Generals were on the road at Dutchess CC, on Tuesday.  The Generals were able to secure a victory, 80-69; Sullivan moves to 14-5 on the year.

The Generals were slow to start going down 9-0 early in the first half.  Once they got things clicking they took back the lead and didn't look back, at half time Sullivan led by ten, 43-33.  The second half was similar and the Generals outscored Dutchess, 37-36, to win the game 80-69.

The Generals were led by Jay Alvarez with a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds with 5 steals and 3 assists.  Naquan Pounder also recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds as well as 3 assists.  The rest of the scoring came from M.Touray (8), J.Currie (7), K.Richvine (6), T.Bryant (6), K.Tracey (4), N.Kane (2), and K.Dinkins (2).

The Generals move to 14-5 on the year.  Sullivan is back in action this weekend when they host CCBC Dundalk (Fri) and CC of Morris (Sun) in the Darius Lee Classic.
