Box Score Loch Sheldrake, NY (2/8/2022) - The #4 ranked Sullivan Generals hosted undefeated #11 ranked Orange CCC Colts on Tuesday evening.  The #4 Generals were able to beat the league opponent by two points and hand the Colts their first lost of the 2021-2022 season.  Sullivan won the game 98-96 to move to 17-3 on the year and 5-1 in conference.

#4 Sullivan opened the half on mission and outscored the #11 Colts by twenty points, ending the half up 55-35.  The second half was an entirely different story with the #11 Colts outscoring the #4 Generals 61-43.  The #4 ranked Sullivan Generals were able to hold off the attack and pull out the win by two points, 98-96.  The win moves Sullivan to 17-3 on the year and hands Orange their first lost of the season moving them to 15-1.  

Kareem Welch lead the #4 Generals with a game high 27 points on 69% shooting from the floor and added in 6 assists, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds.  Jarell White recorded a double-double going for 24 points and 10 rebounds; White also had 6 blocks in the win.  Jalen Reneau had a big night with 19 points, 7 assists, 6 steals, and 4 rebounds before fouling out with a minute to go.  Jay Alvarez chipped in with 14 points, 3 steals, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.  The remaining of the Generals scoring came from S.DeSouza (6), D.Jackson (3), C.Gallon (3), and J.Minto (2).  

Orange CCC was led by Romeo Aquino's with a 27 points and 12 rebounds, double-double.  Nicholas Molina also went for 27 points, hitting 7 threes.  Kevin Stein added in 16 points and 9 assists; while Darius Boben chipped in with 16 points of his own.

The #4 ranked Sullivan Generals are back in action Thursday when they travel to league opponent Rockland CC for a 7:00pm tip off.
