#5 Sullivan Generals Bounce Back with 84-71 Win over Cecil College

Generals End Semester with 10-2 Record

North East, MD - #5 Sullivan Generals earned a bounce back road win against Cecil College, 84-71, on Sunday.  The win moves the Generals to 10-2 on the year, heading into the semester break.

The #5 Generals were hot right out of the gate hitting five 3's and going for 47 points in the first half, while holding Cecil College to 32 points.  The second half was much closer yet the Generals were in control and won the game 84-71.

The Generals were led by Jair Currie with a game high 30 points; hitting 6-11 from three, and finishing with 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.  Cameron Gallon finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Jay Alvarez ended with 10 points and 6 rebounds while Naquan Pounder grabbed 11 rebounds to go along with 6 points.  The rest of the Generals scoring came from J.Minto (8), K.Tracey (4), N.Kane (4), and N.Wheeler (2).

Cecil College was led by Dominick Carrington who finished with a game high 30 points.

The Sullivan Generals are headed into their semester break with a record of 10-2; they will return to action on Jan 7th when they play #2 ranked Niagara CC in the Philly Classic at Herkimer College.
