Sullivan Generals Women Get Road Win At Nassau CC, 80-62

Lady Generals are 8-3 on the year

Box Score Garden City, NY - Sullivan Generals earned a road win at Nassau CC, 80-62, over the weekend.  The road win moves the Generals to 8-3 on the year, heading into the semester break.

The Generals were able to outscoring Nassau in three of the four quarters.  Sullivan battled for an early lead winning the first quarter by two, 20-18.  Nassau fought back and won the second quarter by two, 15-13.  The game was tied 33-33 going into halftime.  The Generals turned things up in the third quarter on both ends and were able to secure an eleven point lead after a 23-12 quarter.  The fourth quarter was again all the Generals, winning 24-17, to end the game with a 18-point victory, 80-62. 

The Generals were led by Brieanna Maple with a team high 25 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Deivejon Harris had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Malaysia Bryant went for 12 points, 7 assists, 4 steals, and 2 rebounds. Tamari Hubbard had 11 points and 8 rebounds while Mei-Lin Calliste ended with 7 points and 7 rebounds. The rest of the scoring came from B.Bruno (8) and K.Williams (2). 

The Sullivan Generals are headed into their semester break with a record of 8-3; they will return to action on Jan 7th when they play Niagara CC in the Philly Classic at Herkimer College.
