Albany, NY - The #2 ranked Sullivan Generals got a road win at Bryant & Stratton College, 87-57, on Tuesday. The road win moves Sullivan to 7-0 going into Thanksgiving Break.
The Generals were a little slow to start but once they hit a couple shots the flood gates opened and Sullivan was able to go into the half up twenty-one points, 45-24. The second half was very much the same; Sullivan was in control the whole way and out scored Bryant & Stratton 42-33 to end the game with a 87-57 victory.
Sullivan's Jay Alvarez and Steve Takyi both recorded double-doubles in the win. Jay Alvarez went for a game high 23 points to go with 12 rebounds, while Steve Takyi had 16 points and 11 rebounds. The rest of the Generals scoring came from K.Richvine (9), J.Minto (8), M.Touray (8), J.Currie (5), K.Tracey (4), C.Gallon (4), N.Pounder (4), B.Harris (3), and K.Dinkins (3).
Bryant & Stratton College was led by Amari Scott with 18 and Charles Echols who had 14.
The #2 Sullivan Generals are off for Thanksgiving Break and will return to action on Thursday, December 1st when they head to Westchester CC.
