Sullivan Generals Women move to 3-1

Take Down Jamestown CC, 68-41

Box Score Rochester, NY - The Sullivan Generals took down Jamestown CC on Saturday, 68-41, in the opening day of the Murph Shaprio Classic hosted by Monroe CC.  The Generals move to 3-1 on the year with the win.

Sullivan came out hot and took an early lead that they never looked back from.  In the first quarter they outscored JCC, 21-6, and then outscored them 22-14 in the second quarter, going into the half up twenty-three, 43-20.  The Generals came out of the half hot and won the third quarter 16-7; the fourth quarter went to Jamestown 14-9 but it was too late to make a significant run and the Generals earned a 68-41 win.

Four Sullivan Generals scored in double figures; led by Deivejon Harris with a 22 point and 12 rebound double-double.  Brieanna Maple had 14 points and 3 assists.  Barbara Bruno chipped in 10 points and Malaysia Bryant added 10 points of her own.  The rest of the scoring came from M.Calliste (7), R.Bare (2), and K.Williams (1).

Jamestown CC was led by Grace Lundmark with 14 points and 3 rebounds.  Hannah Hicks grabbed a game high 14 rebounds to go along with 8 points.

The Sullivan Generals Women are back in action tomorrow at 10am when they face Monroe CC at Monroe CC.
