Box Score Branchburg, NJ (1/20/2022)- The #8 ranked Sullivan Generals Men's Basketball team traveled to #17 ranked Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday to face off with the RVCC Lions.  The Generals were able to defeat the Lions, 89-78; Sullivan to moves to 12-3 on the year.

Sullivan came out the gate hot and jumped to a 13-2 lead in the first four minutes, the Lions were able to respond with a 20 point run that put them up 43-34 with three minutes left in the half, the Generals finished the half on a 9-0 run to tie the game at 43-43 going into half.  The second half was a different story with the Generals able to outscore the Lions 46-35 in the second half to secure an eleven point victory, 89-78.  With the win the #8 Sullivan Generals move to 12-3 overall on the year.  Sophomore guard Kareem Welch, led the Generals with a double-double, going for 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Two different Generals added in 15 points apiece; Daivel Jackson with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Jarell White with 15 points and 6 rebounds.  Jay Alvarez chipped in with 10 points and 7 rebounds, while the rest of the Generals scoring came from J.Reneau (9), K.Tracey (6), S.DeSouza (4), C.Gallon (3), and J.Minto (2).

The #8 Sullivan Generals are back in action at home on Saturday (1/22) when they play the County College of Morris Titans at 2:30pm.  SUNY Sullivan currently has a No Spectator policy until further notice.
