Loch Sheldrake, NY-  The Sullivan Generals hosted Monroe College-Bronx this past Saturday (2/8/20).  Sullivan was able to secure the win, their 20th on the season, 90-77.  The #5 Generals have a record of 20-2 with four games remaining in the regular season.  The Generals appeared to be clicking well jumping out to a quick lead and extending it to 17 points by halftime, 52-35.  Out of the half it appeared Sullivan wasn't letting off the gas when they extended their lead to 28 points six minutes into the second half.  It remained a 23-28 point game until about the 8 minute mark when Monroe mounted an impressive comeback.  In a four minute stretch Monroe was able to go on a 18-2 run and cut the game to 8 points with 4:12 left to play.  Sullivan had to go back to their starters to help stop Monroe's run.  In the final 4 minutes of play Monroe was able to cut the lead down to 5 before the Generals mounted a 8-0 run to close the game out to secure a 90-77 win.  Sullivan went 42% from the field and 36% from three for the game.

The Generals were led by four scoring in double digits.  Jalen Reneau led the Generals with 20 points, shooting 67% from the floor and 40% from three.  Kendall Robinson was right behind Reneau with 19 point and 7 rebounds, shooting 62% from the floor.  Darius Lee put up another double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 3 assists.  Khayri Dawson added another 12 points shooting 50% from the floor.  Josh Galloway ripped down 11 rebounds to go along with 8 points and 2 assists in the win.  Other Generals scoring came from J.Drain (8); J.Lewis (5); and E.Sanchez (2).  

Monroe's Isiah Ryan led all scorers with 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists; going 13-18 from the floor and 3-3 from three.  Adonis Robinson added his own 20 point and 6 rebounds.  Kevon Wiggins chipped in another 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.  

The Sullivan Generals are back in action Tuesday (2/11) when they host conference rival, Westchester CC.  Tip off is at 7pm in the Bunker of the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse, with the Women playing the front end of the doubleheader at 5pm.
