Loch Sheldrake, NY- Sullivan Generals JV Basketball was back in action at home, on Saturday (1/25), when Monroe College JV traveled up for a 2pm tip-off.  In the first game back from break the Generals looked to shake off some rust and really started going in the second half, which proved to be a little too late.  The JV Generals went into the half down 7, 24-31, and were struggling to see shots go in.  In a second half reassurance they were able to knock down shots and get the game to 1 point multiple times but couldn't get over that hump.  In the end Monroe JV proved to be too much and took the win, 69-57.  This moves the Generals JV program to 6-4 on the 2019-20 season.

Sullivan's Ameen Hawkins led the team with 20 points.  Vinmar Mitchell added another 14 points.  Ashton Barrett and Raye McKinney added 8 points and 7 points, respectively.  J.Swan and S.Daniel rounded out the scoring with 4 points each.  Monroe's Jedidah Ashton led all scoring with 22 points while both Daniel Perez and Luis Quinones added 16 points apiece. 

The Sullivan JV Generals are back in action Monday, February 3rd when they host the JV Dolphins from Mount Saint Vincent College.  Tip-off is at 7pm in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse.
