Lady Generals move to 14-2 after win over Mercyhurst

Graves and Curry led the way with 17

North East, PA- The Sullivan Lady Generals have improved to 14-2 after winning on Sunday (1/19).  The Lady Generals traveled to North East, PA to take on the Lady Saints of Mercyhurst.  Sullivan recorded its fourth straight win of 2020 beating Mercyhurst 96-51 and improving to 14-2 overall.  The Lady Generals are averaging a whopping 88 points a game in the second semester with all cylinders firing on offense.  Sullivan shot an impressive 44% from the field, 32% from three, and 73% from the foul line.

Adrienne Graves led the way shooting 80% from the floor and ending with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Johnahyah Curry scored 17 points coming off the bench.  Heather Caroccia followed up with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Infinity Hammonds went for 12 points.  Kadiyah Britt tallied 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Other scoring for the Lady Generals came from B. Avery (7); H.Harris (5); J.Kelly (4); I.Lee (3); K.Britt (2); A.Calderon (2); C.Emmanuel (2); and A.Buchnan (2).

Mercyhurst was led by Cerenity Chambers and Ozjanique Tate who both recorded double-doubles; Chambers finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Tate had 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Essence Sims and Nia Sapia both scored double digits with 11 points and 10 points, respectively.

Sullivan Lady Generals are back in action on Thursday (1/23) when they host North Country CC at 7pm in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse.
