CHESTER, N.Y. - After playing 12 games over 6 days last week a 5 day layoff seemed like a month to the Generals lineup the first two times through the order but the bats would awake and the pitching by committee game plan for Coach Ryan Snair's troops allowed for an 11-4 win over the College of Mount St. Vincent JV team on Wednesday at the Rock Sports Complex in Chester, NY. 

Sullivan would start the scoring off with a RBI double by Bryan De Aza in the first inning. In the bottom of the first starter Devin Edwards was ambushed allowing a leadoff double followed by a strikeout and an RBI single which led the way to a 2-run homerun to stake the Dolphins to a 3-1 lead after one. 

The Generals would chip away in the fourth inning as Sophomore 3B William Ramirez would connect on his second homerun of the season to make it 3-2. In the 5th a two-run double by Justin Mateo would give Sullivan the lead at 5-3 and Brandon Maravi would later add a RBI single in the same frame to make it 6-3. 
 

The Dolphins would scratch out one more run in the 5th but the eight Generals pitchers were able to keep their bats in check most of the afternoon. The Generals would add two in the 8th and three more in the ninth to put the game out of reach.

With the win Sullivan improves to 9-7 on the year and will travel to Keystone College (JV) on Saturday for a 12pm DH at Christy Mathewson Field in La Plume, PA.
