Generals Season Comes to an End in Nailbiter

Generals finish season 22-18...

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Generals first year at at the NJCAA DII level came down to a couple of last second looks that kept them from advancing to their first ever Nationals appearance. Niagara CCC, who hit a big three to take a one point lead with less then 15 seconds off was able to thwart two chances by the Generals in the paint as time expired. With the 73-72 win Niagara advanced to the District final but also clinched a National tournament bid. 

Sullivan, which lead 35-33 at the half, had kept the Thunderwolves at bay for the majority of the second half. Leading the way was Freshman power forward Darius Lee with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Lee's play the second half of the season was part of the the Generals success down the home stretch. Kendall Robinson who had a hot hand for the last month of the season went for 14 points and 7 boards. Sophomores Kevin Smith (13 points) and Anthony Lopez (10 points) finished out their one year stint as Generals in strong fashion.

The Generals finished the year 22-8 and were a perfect 16-0 at home.
