New Rochelle, NY- The Sullivan Men's Basketball team traveled to Monroe College for Monroe College Invitational over the weekend. They were matched up against Harcum College, a NJCAA Division 1 Top 25 team. They game started with some quick buckets for the Generals followed by defensive stops allowing Sullivan to get a nice lead they never looked back from. They went on to route the Bears 106-79 and move their record to 7-1.
The Generals had 6 individuals scoring in double digits and were able to win the rebound battle by committee.Â
Darius Lee lead the charge with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists;
Jasiah Lewis was right on his heels with 20 points (hitting 5 threes), 6 rebounds and 4 assists.Â
Kendall Robinson went for 18 points and 8 rebounds;
Jordan Drain had 15 points and 6 rebounds;
Khayri Dawson chipped in 12 points; and
Jalen Reneau finished with 12 points and 7 assists. Â
Harcum College saw Valdir Manuel had a double-double with 19 and 10; Khalif Meares went for 18 points.
The Generals are back in action next Tuesday, 12/3, when they travel to Westchester CC to face off with their conference opponent at 7pm.
