Loch Sheldrake, N.Y. - The first home game of the 2019 portion of the the Generals' season yielded a blowout victory over Monroe College Bronx by the score of 102-69. A tough return to the hardwoods last weekend at the Philly tournament at Herkimer CC dropped Sullivan to a 9-5 record after losses to both Niagara CCC and Monroe CC. On Thursday night a balanced scoring attack avenged those losses and got the Generals back to their winning ways.
Sullivan controlled the majority of the game from the opening tip taking a demanding 52-37 lead into the half. For the game the Generals shot 54% from the floor and 50% from beyond the arc. Leading the way with 15 points apiece were
Tyiek Rivers and
Kendall Robinson.
Darius Lee (14 points) and
Terrin Roy (12 points) were the other double digit scorers. Every General found there way into the scoring column as they improved to 10-5 on the year.
Up next for Sullivan is a Mid-Hudson Conference game as they host Ulster CC on Thursday January 24th at 7pm.Â
