LOCH SHELDRAKE, N.Y. - The Sullivan Generals volleyball team opened up their 2018 season at Paul Gerry Fieldhouse Tuesday night, dropping a 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-18) decision to Orange Community College.

Sullivan drops to 0-1 overall with the loss while Orange moves to 2-0 on the season.

Freshman  Vairo, Jenna (South Fallsburg, Fallsburg) led the way for the Generals with three kills in eight total chances for a team best .375 kill percentage and three aces. Freshman Martinez, Christina (Hurleyville, NY, Liberty) paced the Generals with 10 digs in the loss.

The Generals will look to rebound when they travel to Ulster Community College on Thursday.
