Fishkill, NY - On Saturday night Sullivan dropped to 0-6 in Mid-Hudson Conference play with 8-6 and 8-5 losses at Dutchess Stadium. In Game one the Generals out hit the Falcons 13-9 but were unable to score the tying runs that were on base in the 7th inning. Sophomore OF Manny Nova (Bronx, NY, All Hallows), Freshman OF George Gonzalez (New York, NY, Norman Thomas) and FR 3B William Ramirez (Orlando, FL, Lake Nona) all knocked out 3 hits apiece. Ramirez had two doubles. Reliever Leonel De la Rosa (New York, NY, George Washington) threw 5 innings, allowing only 1 earned run over 4 hits. 

In Game two the Generals jumped out to an early 2-0 lead but were eventually done in by a 4-run third with four additional runs scored between the 4th and 6th innings. Again the Sullivan bats out hit Dutchess 11 to 6 but were unable to cash in. Sophomore OF Cain Ruiz (West Hempstead, NY, Valley Stream) hit a long double and finished 3-for-3 with a run scored and a walk. Ramirez also doubled again and drove in a run. FR RHP Paul Villar (Bronx, NY, Gregorio Luperon) takes the loss dropping to 1-2. 

Sullivan drops to 4-11 (0-6 MHC). Dutchess is now (6-1 MHC). Sunday's Mid-Hudson Conference makeup with Rockland CC has been rained out. Additional schedule changes for the week ahead forthcoming.
