Sullivan downs Raritan Valley in SUNY Sullivan Classic

Early 1st quarter deficit no worries for the Lady Generals...

Loch Sheldrake, NY - A 10 point first quarter deficit led to Sullivan then outscoring Raritan Valley CC over the remaining 3 quarters by the count of 63-39 as they picked up their second win on the young season. The Lady Generals win coupled by the Men's victory in the nightcap allowed for a clean sweep of the weekend by the hosts. 

Freshman Traynise Delaney (Bronx, NY, Holcombe L. Rucker) filled the stat sheet scoring 30 points, dishing out 8 assists while collected 7 rebounds and 7 steals on the day.

Sophomore Samantha Bellinger (Long Island, NY, Bellport) added 14 points while Freshman Samantha Bellinger (13 pts, 10 reb) and Freshman Jade Walls (10 pts, 12 reb) both had double-doubles.

Up next for the Generals (2-0) will be the Murph Shapiro Tournament hosted by defending National Champions Monroe CC in Rochester. Sullivan takes on the hosts at 12pm this Saturday, November 10th.
